I placed my order on a Standard delivery, when will it be delivered?

A: Standard delivers can take between 1-5 days to arrive, once you have received your confirmation email.

I placed an order Next Day Delivery, what time can I expect to receive my parcel?

A: Next day orders can arrive between 7:30am and 7:30pm on the day of delivery, Next day Parcels will require a signature (the courier services will not leave a Next Day Parcel in a safe place; a card will be left so that you can arrange another date for delivery).

I placed an order for an overseas delivery, how long can this take?

A: Overseas parcels can take up to 10 working days to be delivered depending on it’s destination.

I am attempting to order 5 cards, although every time I type in the number 5, the Web site is still only showing 1, why can I not order the quantity I need?

A: This unfortunately means that there is only 1 of this item in stock. Please contact us via email for further information.

I have ordered a Personalised Gift on standard delivery; can you tell me when I should expect my delivery?

A: Personalised Gifts on a standard delivery can take up to 10 working days to be delivered. Please ensure that you have spelt names correctly to help your order be processed swiftly.

I have not received my Confirmation Email? Has my order been placed?

A: If you could contact us with the following details we will be able to check for you. We require your full name, post code, date and estimated time of order and the products ordered.

I want to return an item as I no longer need it. Can I return it to a store?

A: All Web site returns must be returned via Post/Courier to the Web site, Unfortunately Clinton cards Stores will be unable to refund or exchange any goods purchased on-line. (Please see Refund/Returns Section in customer support for more details)

I have returned an item to the web site for a refund, as I no longer need it, how long will it be before the funds appear back in my account?

A: Once the parcel has been received refunds can take up to 3 working days to appear in you account.

I have recently ordered some flowers from your web site for delivery on a specific day, what time can I expect them to be delivered?

A: Flower orders can be delivered on week days between 8am-6pm, and on Saturday between 8am – 1pm.

I am trying to order a gift card on a Next day service although the Web site it not letting me! Why is this?

A: Gift cards are only available via a tracked delivery service. (This is a 72 hour service).

Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

A: No, setting up an account is optional. If you wish to create an account you can do this at any time, including at the end of checkout.

How do I create an account?

A: Click Log In at the top right hand side of the page. Enter your name, an existing email address and create a password.

I’ve forgotten my password – What should I do?

A: Click 'Log In' at the top right hand side of the page. Click on 'Forgotten your password’. Enter your email address. An automatic email will send the password directly to you.

If registered on the old site – will I be recognised?

A: Yes – however you will receive an email with a new password which you can then change.

How do I go about personalising a card?

A: It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

Step 1: Add your personalised message using our easy personalisation tool and real time previewer.

Step 2: Preview your card.

Step 3: Add to your basket and continue shopping or proceed to checkout to complete your payment.

Can I get a blank envelope with my card?

A: If you choose to have the card sent back to you it will arrive in an outer envelope with a blank envelope inside, ready for you to either send on or deliver by hand.

Photo Upload Problems

A: We have some very specific restrictions on images that can be uploaded and this may be why you are having difficulty.

Images must be in JPEG format to upload to the site, any other format such as Word Documents and PDFs will not be accepted.

For the best results we suggest that you make the image dimensions approximately 1000 pixels for the smallest edge of your photos.

We print images at 300DPI (Dots Per Inch) so if you are scanning the image we recommend you use this setting. If you try to upload a photo that has a lower resolution or image size, we will still accept the image but will give you an on screen warning that the image may not print very well.

Am I responsible for the personalisation of my cards / gifts?

A: Yes. If you upload an image that is not of a good quality or incorrect text, then it will be produced in the same way. You have to check your product carefully for errors at time of personalisation. Clinton Cards will not be held responsible for errors made at time of personalisation. Can I send my personalised card or personalised gift to someone other than myself?

A: Yes, you can send personalised cards and personalised gifts direct to the recipient. You will be given the option at checkout to either send to your billing address or a different address.
